This is a new year medallion with an optional 12 LED Neopixel ring. I added a switch for changing the lighting function. The normal state is the 'Ball Drop' mode that randomly selects the individual color and brightness for each individual LED starting at 12 o'Clock position and takes 10 seconds to complete a revolution. The second function divides the ring into three sections of 4 consecutive LEDs colored blue, green, and red and randomly selects the brightness for a flickering effect.I plan to make a Fourth of July version of this in the near future.
