The circulatory system, also known as the cardiovascular system, is responsible for transporting oxygen and nutrients to cells throughout the body. It consists of the heart, arteries, veins, and blood vessels that work together to pump blood through the body. The respiratory system brings oxygen into the body and removes carbon dioxide.
