Easy-to-print swizzle sticks and toothpicks make a great conversation starter about 3D printing, a fun idea for a host or hostess gift at any New Year's gathering or graduation party. They are printed in PLA. To avoid bending the toothpicks, be careful not to peel them off the build platform too quickly. The swizzle sticks come in two sizes for tall and short drinks, and the toothpicks also come in two sizes. The longer ones can be used as cocktail garnishes with olives or fruit. You can print these designs using PETG or PLA filament, both of which are theoretically food-safe, although some people argue that bacteria could grow between the layers.
