I enter this design into its first and second place finish at the inaugural three-dimensional printed derby, a milestone event as far as I'm aware. The design underwent revisions before both cars were produced with 100% infill in high-temperature PLA material. Subsequently, they were augmented by attaching a 4oz egg-shaped fishing weight that had been slightly deformed using a vice, followed by an application of epoxy and multiple rounds of sanding and painting, culminating in a clear coat that was also sanded to perfection.
