I installed a high-end aftermarket radio in my 2017 Nissan Maxima, which doesn't come with Bose. I opted for a Sony XAV-AX5000 that features two USB ports on an extension cable. Unfortunately, the original USB ports are disabled once this new setup is installed. Additionally, the radio comes equipped with a built-in microphone. To accommodate the new USB ports and mic, I removed the factory-installed USB ports and designed a custom holder to house them securely. This custom solution allows me to keep my car's interior looking sleek while still utilizing the advanced features of my Sony XAV-AX5000. The necessary hardware for this project includes three M2 screws that are 12mm in length.
