2017 Honda CR-V Key Fob Cover
thingiverse
Recently we discovered a hidden feature on our 2017 Honda CR-V that lets you roll down all the windows and open the sunroof using your key fob remote. Sounds good at first, right? Well what if the car is parked outside in the rain and you accidentally bump the button while going about your business indoors? We had this happen to us, although minus the rain, luckily. The windows were open all night. Since the feature can't be disabled, I created a key fob cover to prevent it from happening again. The fob slides into the case and stays put due to a snug fit. Since our vehicle is keyless entry / keyless start, we don't normally need access to the buttons, so we just leave the fob in our pocket. If we do want to use the buttons, we can use the lock button while the fob is in the case, but for others we'll need to slide it out of the case - that's the whole point of it. Print in the orientation shown. The arch seems to print okay without supports, but adding supports improved the quality slightly for me.
