Depending on your printer's extrusion width, you can build walls up to 2mm thick. I opted for three walls and found that only minimal infill was needed at the top after printing the base. The original Honda Odyssey mount had limited space, accommodating small phones but was bulkier than necessary. My custom design is based on the listed model, with a reduced width by several inches and increased depth to fit various devices, including cases. This modification should work for most devices unless you have an OtterBox or similarly thick phone case. To enhance stability during transport, I may add a thin layer of Sugru or rubber strip to the base, ensuring it won't slip if your phone isn't in a TPU or similar case.
