These bikes are designed to showcase the diversity of motorcycles, with each one offering a unique experience. The name "Jibril" comes from my friend who is passionate about motorcycles, and this project was inspired by his love for these vehicles. I wanted to create something that would bring excitement and realism to the world of RC motorcycles. I achieved this by designing two 2016 bikes with individual parts that aim to recreate the realism of actual motorcycles. Both the Ducati and Suzuki feature a 3d printed functional front fork, adjustable rear suspension, and drivetrain that translates power from gears to a belt drive system which turns the rear wheel. They stay upright using a weighted front wheel as a passive gyroscope. To bring these bikes to life, I created "The Rider," a 3d wonder that works by having a brain, backbone, and pelvis. The brain is a super tiny ultra micro servo located in the head of the rider, attached to the backbone which runs through the body and is connected to the pelvis, translating movement. "The Rider" not only adds realism but also steers the bike. The lower left arm is attached to the main servo, moving forward and backward to turn the handlebars, steering the bike. When combined with "The Bike," you get an amazing experience of two futuristic race bikes that were never available to the public, with a rider sitting on the bike in the way an actual rider would. This project took me over 5 months of work, with lots of iterations, multiple bikes, and older versions that will never be released. The result is two fully functional RC motorcycles that I hope you enjoy and are inspired by, inspiring others in turn.
