Made this specifically to work seamlessly with the Audiofrog Gb60 in the doors. I strongly advise against using the OEM mount, as it's sloppy by design. This alternative uses the correct angle and provides a clean install that protects your Gb60 while ensuring a proper seal. Use foam backing on both the mount and where the speaker rests - 1/4 inch works perfectly. Replace the OEM plastic clips for the indoor speaker mount with M6 rivnuts, which fit snugly without requiring any drilling when applied under medium pressure. Secure the grill either by using the supplied rubber or hot glue, and attach your speaker foam ring to the grill cover to ensure a full seal against the door. You will need to grind down the bottom of the inside of the door panel to avoid any issues. The OEM design features a block with foam on it that can hit the grill or surround if not removed. This appears to be a molding design from panels marked as having premium sound, likely intended to make the system more rigid or prevent vibrations. I conducted RTA testing with and without the molded support, but found no change in results. By simply following the contour and removing the hump present on the OEM design, you can avoid any issues and maintain a sleek, unaltered appearance while still enjoying a high-quality sound system.
