2015 Kia Sportage Speaker Mount Ring

Note that this model is based in the US customary system. This speaker mount adapter was designed specifically for a 2015 Kia Sportage and can accommodate speakers with a diameter of 6.75 inches. The design utilizes the open-source plan found on Thingiverse, located at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2924217. I added mounting tabs to the outer edges of the original design. Update 7/8/18: Initially, this speaker ring did not function as intended due to a design flaw. A revised version was created, addressing several issues. The new design features an increased thickness of 1 inch and modified mount screw spacing. Additionally, the mounting tabs were relocated between the speaker screws, and the wiring slot was moved to a hole in the ring. However, please note that the wiring slot is slightly small for terminals. I used #10x1/14 mounting screws and #8x1 screws for the speaker, which worked well with the pre-drilled screw holes.
