2015 GMC Sierra Fuel Door Gas Cap Photogrammetry

Hi,\r\n\r\nThis is a 3D Scan done with photogrammetry of a 2015 GMC Sierra Fuel Door. I decided to test out photogrammetry by scanning an original that was severely corroded, and it turned out to be a great learning experience. The results were fairly impressive, but the edges could have been smoother. To get good images for scanning, I applied a flat black paint coat with speckled red accents. I used COLMAP and Meshlab to process the data.\r\n\r\nI printed the scanned model out of ABS using my 3D printer. In S3D, I configured the settings to include eight top layers, twenty bottom layers, five perimeters, and a generous amount of support material. It's essential to ensure that the entire bottom side is fully covered with support structure to prevent any potential issues during printing.
