2014+ Super Tenere Accessory Bar Bracket
thingiverse
This is a bracket for the 2014+ Super Tenere accessory bar or any other 11-13mm round rail. The hole pattern is designed specifically for Ram-Mount diamond base mounts, which are widely used for many phone and GPS cradles as well as Ram-Balls. Pictured is the InReach Ram-mount cradle, clearly showing how this bracket will securely hold it in place. Print Settings Printer Brand: Printrbot Printer: Simple Black Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 20% Post-Printing Remove brim to prepare the part for assembly. Run a drill through the four outer holes, taking note that they have a thin 0.4mm infill to allow the part to be printed without supports. To assemble this bracket, you will need: 6x M4 Nylock Nuts 4x M4x30mm Socket head cap screws 2x M4x12mm Socket head cap screws 2x M4 Washers The Hex-holes for the nuts are designed as a tight press fit. Optionally, you can secure the nuts in place by melting some filament around the top of the nut once it is seated in the hole. This makes mounting the bracket on the motorcycle and any Ram cradle to the bracket much easier, as the nuts are captive. How I Designed This I originally designed this part in Sketchup, an app I have been using for a long time. However, I then completely re-designed the parts in Fusion360, which I am currently learning.
