The mount allows attachment of Printrbot's 3mm geared stepper motor on a 2014 Simple with right-handed installation. Unfortunately, Printrbot does not offer an alternative part for this purpose. The mount is elongated by half an inch and the aluminum extruder's mount is elevated around 5/16th inch to accommodate the geared motor. Use the supplied plate from the printrbot 3mm geared motor on the right side of the aluminum extruder. If your motor runs in reverse, you may need to reverse the plug.
