Modelled in 3DS Max 8 with meshsmooth modifier still intact, resulting in a highly detailed model of 48,897 polygons. All other models were exported from the same software, but with the meshsmooth iteration collapsed to just one step, reducing the polygon count to an impressive 193,692 polygons. Rendered using the Mental Ray renderer that comes standard with 3DS Max 8, no additional plugins are required for this model. Minor adjustments were made in Photoshop to ensure the final product met our high standards.
