I've always dreamed of owning a miniature replica of my car, so I tracked down a high-quality 3D model online. The original design by Alabassiry on SketchUp's 3D Warehouse caught my eye, and I was eager to get started. Using the blueprints as a guide, I imported them into Blender where I created a mesh that would eventually be refined in Meshmixer and 3D Slicer. However, I encountered some issues during the process - the model had several holes, and the rear window turned out to be a mess. To fix these problems, I invested in Premium Patch and Paint Lightweight Spackling Paste and carefully filled the holes, letting them dry before sanding them down with 220-grit sandpaper. Once the patches were smooth, I primed the model, sanded it again, applied another coat of primer, and finally gave it a fresh new paint job. I'm thrilled with how it turned out! If you're considering a project like this, good luck - you'll need it! Print Settings: Printer: Anet A8 Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 150 mm Long Infill: 0% Notes: This was a lengthy six-hour print, and I wonder if using a 20% fill might have resolved the holes issue.
