The plastic segment on my car key fractured. I trimmed the remaining plastic from the original key and measured its metallic component for replication in SketchUp. However, it was slightly undersized; thus, I scaled it up. Fortunately, there was no chip within the key. Edit: Upon further examination, the key did possess a hidden chip, so the STL and SKP files have been updated to accommodate this feature. To proceed with printing, pause at approximately 68% and insert the key's metallic component, which should fit securely. Once printed, snap off the keyrest.
