200mm PC Fan Holder / Desk Stand
thingiverse
Turn a 200mm PC fan into a desk fan, perfect for bedside tables as these fans are remarkably quiet. Great for keeping your bedroom cool without disturbing anyone. The mounting holes are precisely 154mm apart (center-to-center), not diagonally positioned. This design is ideal for printing on small beds like the Anet A8, which measures 220 x 220 mm. To assemble this project, you'll need four 40-45mm long screws with a diameter of 4mm to secure the fan in place. Additionally, some M4 bolts measuring 30-40mm are required for pivoting the fan's parts. I personally used door handle screws, which can be easily trimmed to length by snapping them. To print this project, you'll need to create three separate components: 1. Two Fan Surrounds 2. Two Fan Stands 3. One Fan Brace (print it on its side and use supports for a successful outcome) I've included my print settings below, but feel free to experiment with different options as I'm still learning the ropes!
