200mm 3D Printed Quadcopter
thingiverse
I decided to utilize some spare quad parts to build a new quad using my 3D printer. The components I utilized were as follows: - Chaos FPV 2205 2600KV motors - Spedix IS30A 4 in 1 ESCs - Omnibus F4SD flight controller - Foxeer TM25 VTX - Runcam Micro Swift 2 camera - Foxeer RHCP stubby antenna - Standard hardware - Antenna adapter from Dec Kwad Box The only component I had to purchase was the XM receiver, as I didn't have any spare. I searched Thingiverse for a frame that could be printed on a 220mm build plate and found one. After discovering this design, I remixed the pod to incorporate the RX and made some minor adjustments to the frame and other parts to fit my preferred configuration with the components I had at hand. My goal was to share this mini project and provide credits to the original designers in one post. This build utilized PLA for all prints except for the Antenna adapter, which was printed from TPU using my Dec Kwad Box. I hope you enjoy this little project!
