SAFETY DISCLAIMER: USE AT YOUR OWN RISK THIS IS PLASTIC NOT METAL, IF YOU PRINT THIS WRONG OR DONT TAKE THE NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS THAT'S ON YOU. 2009+ Chrysler Van - Control Arm Bushing Install Helper This is a tool to help assist installing the forward control arm bushing on 2009+ Chrysler Vans (Dodge Caravan, Town and Country, VW Routan) Installing without this proved difficult as the bushing kept tearing. This compresses the bushing in a conical shape to help fit in the control arm. The difference between the 115k mile bushings and brand new were about 5mm in thickness. I used a medium weight silicon lube, much like dielectric grease on the cone and the control arm I printed in PETG for a bit of flex at 90-100 infill. For safety, I wore eye protection and wrapped an appropriately sized plumbing hose clamp around it to contain it if it exploded or cracked. The file labeled press is the conical shape The file labeled cup is to be used at the other end to allow the bushing to clear your tool but it is UNTESTED
