this is a temporary driver-side mirror mount for a telsa roadster. mine was ripped off when my car was side-swiped in the parking lot. this mount is designed for 2 M5 screws in the accessible screws of the door and then a set screen to pressure fit the existing nut whose screw is behind the door panel. i wanted to be about to mount this without taking apart the door. the only tricky part is screws falling into the door when removing the existing mount. string with a lasso on the end after loosening the screws is key.
