2008 NSD Dalek eye socket assembly
thingiverse
Human: 2008 Dalek eye stalk and assembly, eye front and back are readily printable without supports using two-part printing, currently exportable from .mix to .stl soon. Print Settings: Printer: Da Vinci XYZ 1.0 AIO Notes: For the eye, lightly apply lip to its front surface, add supports if necessary or it may split horizontally; send mounting holes through both parts for alignment purposes - feedback is greatly appreciated. Disks are intended to be printed twice and mounted on a pole, while the Eye socket (rear end) will require additional casing, unfortunately, this project extends beyond today's schedule! I highly recommend using an aluminum pole measuring 19mm in outer diameter or a sturdy broomstick for optimal results. Design Process: Autodesk Inventor This design is specifically tailored to complement my full-size Dalek production, which is mounted on an electric wheelchair; Dalek Hemispheres are also available for publication, and I chose to print one model and then vacuum-form the others from it.
