I managed to salvage my busted V Strom by crafting my own replacement housing instead of shelling out for brand new turn signals. It was a thrifty decision, I admit, and one that allowed me to hone in on the design process for over an hour before putting the parts to the test. After some fiddling, the custom fitting finally clicked into place, albeit a bit snugly on the bike's mount - but that's actually turned out to be a blessing in disguise as it keeps everything securely locked in position.
