A plug/cap for D2 rear spring perch body. Normally, the top is left open, and there's nowhere for the water to drain. Consequently, water pools up, rusts the bolt, and next thing you know, your drilling stuff. This is an attempt to prevent that; not fully tested yet. Maybe seal with a silicone. The through hole on top lets you use a screwdriver if you ever need to remove it.
