2003 Suzuki SV1000 Cluster Gauge
thingiverse
Working diligently to update this soon. 8-6-17 Note: Currently, this serves as a mock-up, and I am documenting its progression. Additional Note: As my sole mode of transportation, I am taking great care not to render it inoperable. Progress on this project might be somewhat slow, with most work scheduled for the weekend. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to accomplish anything last weekend. I am dealing with a damaged cluster gauge on my 2003 SV1000, which allows moisture into the electronics. Acquiring a new one is not cheap, so instead of purchasing an expensive replacement, I will reverse engineer my own. I've already started this process, but it may require an overhaul. This is my first attempt at creating something like this. To ensure accuracy, I need to remove the working cluster gauge and measure where the different mounting brackets should be positioned. I plan to print this in PETG first and once my printer's heated, filtered enclosure is finished, I will reprint it in some color of ABS, followed by acetone vapor smoothing to guarantee its water-tightness. For now, consider this a work-in-progress. Feel free to reach out with any questions you might have.
