2002 Honda Civic SI Window Lift

Finding this part for sale without being attached to a window can be tough. This single piece replaces the two parts that attach the window glass to the lift mechanism. When printing, use an acetone-soluble filament that can handle baking in the sun without deforming. After printing and post-processing, attach the part to the lift mechanism almost fully, leaving it slightly wiggly for easier window glass installation. Installing bolts and nuts requires a drop of blue Loctite for better grip. Clean the window glass thoroughly before setting it aside. Power up the lift mechanism to its top position and apply an adhesive product like 3M Window Weld to the areas where the part encloses the window glass. Don't use too much, just enough for thorough coverage. Lower the lift mechanism all the way down. Align and install the window glass into the door at the top position (fully up), being careful not to touch or foul the area where the printed piece with adhesive will be attaching. Use painter's tape to hold the window glass in place. Raise the lift mechanism carefully until it's ready to slide onto the glass, ensuring proper alignment and several taps to raise it fully. Snug up the bolts, but leave the window alone until the full cure time for the adhesive has been reached.
