The driver's seat height adjustment crank on my car broke, leaving me with a metal stub to use until I could design a replacement. I waited until I had time to create a new one and designed it using software. This design is for the driver's side, but mirrored, it should work just as well for the passenger's side. I included pictures of the passenger side for comparison purposes. While working on this project, I made some adjustments to make it smaller and less obtrusive, except for the color which remains the same. Print Settings Printer: QIDI Pro Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 65% Notes: You can probably print this with a lower infill percentage, but I printed it at 65% for added strength. When printing, place the part on the bed of the printer to achieve a smooth surface and maximize strength through layer orientation. The picture shows an earlier version than the downloaded file, which features a relief cut incorporated directly into the STL file. Post-Printing Installation You will need to keep the metal clip that was part of the original crank handle. This new handle installs in the same way as the original part. How I Designed This I used software to design this part, specifically Solidworks.
