The PLM-18-2X1000W Pneumatic Light Tower from Larson Electronics offers an 18ft extendable pneumatic light tower equipped with two metal halide lamps, producing approximately 110,000 lumens each. This powerful unit effectively covers large work areas with high-quality illumination via its two 1,000W metal halide lamps. The telescoping three-section light boom can be extended to 18ft for maximum area coverage and collapsed to 8ft for stowage. A locking top mounting plate allows operators to easily remove the lamp assembly for storage or transport. The mast is elevated using a 250W, 220V AC 50/60hz, 1/3hp air compressor and can be lowered via an air release valve located at its base. Two wet-area suitable HID-22-SL-REM metal halide fixtures are included, producing a combined total of approximately 220,000 lumens at 2,000W. These lamps have 19" reflectors and are constructed of aluminum with a clear tempered glass lens secured in place with a heavy-duty gasket and single ring lock. They produce a wide flood light pattern capable of illuminating approximately 2.5 acres. The lamps are securely fastened to the light boom, and each lamp includes a support bracket for maintaining stability within its housing. Wiring runs through the mast, ensuring no loose wires when collapsed. The mast is typically mounted on trailers or other stable surfaces via a 12" square, 1/2" thick mounting base-plate and a 24” wide, 1/4" thick mounting plate attached to the upper section of the mast provides a strong platform for the metal halide fixtures. Custom options include 1000W or 1500W Metal Halide lights, high-powered LED lights, and manual or electric winches.
