20 LED Array Lamp - GorillaPod Mountable

In preparation for Hurricane Irene in 2011, a quick-to-assemble LED lamp is introduced. The lamp requires inserting 20 LEDs with outward-bent legs for adjustment flexibility. Soldering depends on your power source; for 3 volts, each of the four rows should have five LEDs in parallel, while for 12 volts, there are five parallel rows of four LEDs in series. A pulse-width-modulation circuit using a microcontroller is planned to regulate voltage, or two 1.5v Alkaline batteries can be used but will dim with battery depletion. The lamp features attachment pads compatible with GorillaPod tripods and a back plate shielding electronics secured by cantilever friction. However, this model is currently in progress and will be updated upon testing.
