20 LBS THRUST ROCKET ENGINE
grabcad
A small liquid-fuel rocket engine, based on a "how-to" manual, delivers 20 lbs thrust with 300 psi chamber pressure. Propellants include gasoline at 0.022 lbs per second and oxygen (gas) at 0.055 lbs per second. The engine ejects water at 45 ft per second, but it's not flight-capable due to its weight and absence of cryogenic fuel for regenerative cooling; thus, the launch vehicle would need to carry water. Feel free to share your thoughts on tungsten or any other improvements! Enjoy!
