This high-torque robotic gripper model was specifically designed for use by a local robotics club competing in the FIRST competition. The gripper's design and files were created in response to the club's request, providing them with a valuable resource for their robot. Despite its robust build, this gripper features no mounting holes on the backside, but includes STEP files for easy integration into any project. The gripper operates by utilizing 90 degrees of servo travel, resulting in a smooth and efficient motion. When opened, the backside remains flat, allowing for seamless interaction with various objects. For those interested in replicating this design, it's worth noting that Shown is paired with a premium servo from Rev robotics, which offers dimensionally equivalent performance.
