20 Gauge Shotgun Chamber Flag Empty Indicator
thingiverse
This is an updated design from a chamber flag I did previously for a 20 gauge shotgun I purchased. A lot of flags, including my original design, include a perpendicular planar surface as the flag. This becomes a failure point, especially for FDM printed models. The new design uses a conical lug rather than a flat one, removing the vulnerability while acting as an action hold-open simultaneously. This piece should be good for conspicuous range use or other applications where chamber-empty flags are required where the weapon is free-standing. Unlike my previous design, this piece will as fit nicely in a case without breaking. Comments and suggestions welcome. CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 DEED; attribution non-commercial.
