20 Gauge Shell Boxer
thingiverse
After having made multiple iterations on this 20 gauge shell stacker/boxer I can see why the commercial ones are metal, having both strength and thinness. If this doesn't work well for you I encourage you to try scaling it. This design is a careful balance between size and strength. I found that very small changes made a big impact on its functioning. It features a slant in two dimensions to ease loading and a gap in the base to hold the brass. I found that placing the first shell crimp side out aids in being able to pull the box over the top. I pull the box all of the way over the top and then turn it over and tamp it on my worksurface before pulling it out. If the shell box opens at both ends it works easier if the bottom is open as you pull it down and the closing it before turning it over
