Note: The photo I'm sharing was taken of a model I created via Shapeways. I needed a convenient way to store my CR2032 batteries and often need to carry some with me as well. Unfortunately, existing solutions take up too much space and don't prevent short circuits. That's why I came up with this design. The process ended up being more enjoyable than I expected. With a simple tap from behind, the battery springs into place, making it easy to remove for use. You can even press down on the case against a table to make all batteries easily accessible. Since my Shapeways print turned out so well, I'm sharing it here, but feel free to create your own copy as well. And here's a 10-coin cell version for those of you who aren't overwhelmed by CR2032s, but still need order in their lives. Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator 2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 3mm Infill: 100% Notes: I printed several models with my MakerBot and they work well, but the Shapeways print is in a different league. It's worth trying it out here first, but if you want one that lasts, check it out at http://shpws.me/MWtF
