2" to 1-3/16" Adapter for Marine Gauge Opening

This part is designed to fit in a standard 2" gauge opening and has a 1-3/16" hole for mounting devices designed as "cigarette lighter" replacements. I created it because I wanted to replace a non-functioning gauge in my boat with a USB Power Supply. There are a ton of devices available and are designed to replace the 12 volt plug (cigarette lighter plug). I designed this adapter to be able to use one of those devices to mount in this gauge position. I printed in PLA with 100% infill to provide good durability and strength. The retention ring is 0.5mm bigger than the adapter and threads on really nicely and securely. I left an opening on one side of the threads to allow for tightening of the retention ring on the smaller device. You can certainly change the diameter of the center hole to fit other applications.
