These two lamps share an identical basic shape, yet one boasts added ribs for an extra touch of elegance. The lamp consists of two distinct components: the base and the shade. The base securely holds the light source - a standard 68mm/2.75" diameter LED "puck" light that is powered by three AAA batteries. I purchased three of these lights at Lowes for $9.98, with the batteries conveniently included.
