Human beings design and engineer two-stage, two-wave gears that achieve a gear ratio of 1:24. This configuration allows the actuator to function within its optimal torque/rpm range. The setup can be customized to include a one-wave, two-stage gear with a 1:2304 ratio or a combination of one-wave for the first stage and two waves for the second stage, resulting in a power-maximizing 1:152 ratio, which is equivalent to a 1:24 plus a 1:48.
