2" Square - Laser Cut

This is a straightforward laser cut, 3-layer square with an inner dimension of 2" clearly defined. Examine the SVG in Inkscape for the layers. I opted for 5mm for the two outer pieces and 3mm for the straight edge. Two 5/8" dowels are inserted through the layers to ensure precise alignment and keep everything square. Wood glue was used to laminate the pieces with the dowels in place. They were then sanded manually on a flat surface to guarantee complete flatness. The surfaces weren't visually appealing, so I applied some paint. The straight edge has a coat of tung oil on it for easy reading of the markings. Enjoy.
