2 sheave wheel pulley balance block
thingiverse
This is a basic two-sheave pulley balance block created for use with 10mm or 3/8" rope on my boat. I designed this to fit inside my sailboat's boom, making it simple to operate a single-line jiffy reefing system. You will also need: 2 - 608 bearings 2 - 3/8" button head bolts (mine were initially 2" long, so I cut them down) 2 - 3/8" low profile nuts (secured with locktite) 2 - 6-32 x 1" bolts (again, shortened to size) 2 - 6-32 nyloc nuts The wheels are engineered to center the 608 bearings and spacers then ensure the wheels align perfectly between the sides. Please note that I make no guarantees about this item's safety or functionality. Although it's remarkably robust, I have no idea how much stress it can withstand or what weight it will support.
