People build model cars with a 2-post hoist that slides up and down on pins, locking into place. The arms swing in and out, and arm extensions slide in and out too. To assemble this system, just connect the Beams part one and part two together - I glued mine. Then put the rest of it together, and you're ready to start building model cars!
