2 Plank Open Wagon for 16mm Scale Garden Railway

This is the second wagon in a series designed to bring your 16mm garden railway to life. Perfectly suited for LGB scale, these wagons will seamlessly integrate into your existing layout. With each new release, I'll be introducing additional options that can be easily installed on any wagon within this series. These upgrades will enhance the overall functionality and realism of your model train system. The printing process is straightforward, requiring only a few simple components to bring it to life. Two steel rods measuring 3mm in diameter are needed for the axis, along with optional ballbearings (MR63ZZ) or brass bushings. The latter can be created by drilling a 3mm hole into a 6mm brass rod. If you're looking for a single buffer wagon, simply repurpose the frame from my 5-plank wagon design. This will not only save time but also create a consistent look throughout your garden railway. Printing at 75% of the original STL file size yields an ideal wagon size for my Diesel Loco model, ensuring a seamless integration into your existing layout.
