Heavily modified from hockenmaier's 6 Round Speedloader that doesn't need any glue or screws whatsoever. It uses a mere two pieces. The airsoft version fits UHC airsoft spring revolver shells perfectly, and it might fit other types as well. In the closed position, the knob relies on the shells to stay in place; the rim holder gets stuck under the rims of the cartridges, and the cartridges get stuck under the cylinder. Without shells and in the closed position, you can easily separate the knob from the cylinder. In the open position, the knob is held in place by small tabs that won't let the rim holder pass through the back of the cylinder. To assemble it, put the knob in the closed position and then turn it to the open position. If you're having trouble turning the knob, simply file off a bit of its ridges. I wouldn't use this for defense under any circumstances. However, I would definitely use it for a range trip, big igloo adventure, or SHTF scenario with no hesitation whatsoever. Edit: Since I don't own a real steel revolver at the moment, please let me know if the real version doesn't fit. The real steel version's dimensions are largely based on the source material, though.
