Light Duty Knob for Frequent Use #2 Phillips Round Head Fasteners This knob is designed to work seamlessly with fasteners that are often installed or removed. It includes a variety of sizes: #6, #8 & #10 screws, as well as metric fasteners up to 5mm. The printed product has been produced at 50% speed with 0.1mm layers, ensuring optimal results. However, it's essential to remove any ridges on the mating surfaces for a smooth finish. The Phillips bit portion of the button must be formed when the print is freshly made or after submerging it in boiling water if PLA material is used. Applying super glue is recommended for enhanced bonding. Keep in mind that the final product size may vary depending on factors like print quality, speed, and material used. To assemble the knob properly, use one button and base. I achieved successful results with a 14.1mm printed base. Note that base sizes refer to the interior diameter necessary to accommodate the button produced by your printer. A wood block featuring holes of 9/16, 11/64, 13/64, or 5/8 inches can significantly aid in the assembly process.
