2-Part Wrist Support for Mouse/Keyboard I was inspired by the design found in IKEA/UNYQ product lineups, specifically this one: https://i.imgur.com/a3bsw1c.jpg. HP also features a similar design in their 3D printer demonstrations at https://i.imgur.com/VviewiW.png. To experience it firsthand, I created a quick prototype using Inventor. The outer shell is solid, while the inner structure is flexible. The shape was generated with Meshmixer, although it's not perfect. There are two parts: front and back, with the inner piece flaring more on the hand side. When used under my wrist, almost touching my hands' sides, I found it to be quite comfortable. It's ambidextrous, so suitable for both left- and right-handed users. On November 27th, 2019, I added an "outside r2" version with a flat side for printing without support. The un-meshmixed inner structure is available for your use; however, I'm still searching for a method to create a 3D truss-like structure in this form. In my opinion, it works adequately as a casual wrist support and could be a useful accessibility widget.
