2" Net Pot for WM Mason Jar (no Supports Needed)
thingiverse
Perfectly fits a wide-mouth Mason jar. The print is designed with a 1-layer bridge across the bottom, allowing it to be printed without support. After printing, just trim the cutouts with an exacto knife. I initially tried designing the net pot with threads as one piece but after research decided to print the cup and use the band that comes with them. Jars at my local thrift store cost $1 each without a lid and were harder to find in the exact size I wanted. Jars at my grocery store were only about $10 for a case of 12, including both the band and lid. I print at 100% infill with .2mm layer height. You won't save much plastic with less infill, so it's not worth the effort. So far, I'm on grow number three, reusing the same cups, and they don't show any signs of wear.
