2 mm Allen Key Extension Handle
thingiverse
My Turnigy Fabrikator II Mini requires four 2 mm Allen Key screws to level the bed, with two located at the rear of the closed metal housing - a notoriously difficult spot to access using the supplied 2 mm Allen Key. What I desperately needed was an Allen Key with an extended handle or an extension handle for the existing Allen Key. So I created one! After some trial and error, I discovered that printing at 0.1 mm resolution allows a 2.0 mm Allen Key to fit snugly into a 2.2 mm hexagonal hole - as specified in the STL file. It's a loose fit, making it easy to remove the Allen Key. Your mileage may vary - you might need to adjust the size of the hole up or down to accommodate a 2 mm key, or scale the entire print if you want to make a handle for a different sized Allen Key. UPDATE: I required a 2.5 mm Allen Key holder as well, so I've added the file for it, and both designs now feature the size embossed onto the handle.
