A 3D printable case for a hand wired 2 key mechanical keyboard.

The switches simply click into the switch cutouts, and you then wire them up to an Arduino Pro Micro. This sits on the cross beam with its USB port pressed into the cases' USB hole. I kept the pro micro in place with a dab of hot glue.

The feet I used were simple rubber furniture bumpers, I believe they are specifically these ones. The bumpers have a diameter of 8mm, so any furniture bumper with the same diameter would work fine. The case will workwithout feet, but will slide around like crazy.

I included pictures of the wiring, if you have any questions, feel free to comment!

I created the layout using Keyboard Layout Editor and created the keyboard hex file using Keyboard Firmware Builder.

Happy printing!

Print instructions

Rafts: Doesn't Matter

Supports: No

Resolution: 0.15

Infill: 20% or more

Notes:

The case will print in its upright position, you may have to press 'lay flat' in Cura to ensure the bottom side is flat against the print bed.
