2-line DSL and phone splitter
thingiverse
Custom-made phone line splitter with filters for DSL connects to a single phone line RJ11 input, splitting it into two POTS phone lines that go through DSL noise filters, along with the same two lines without filters going straight to two high-speed DSL modems. The original combined 2-line filter came from an old wall-mount style telephone jack that was included with a DSL modem and also had those small pigtail filters attached. This custom-built box takes the place of what were once two worn-out surface mount wall jacks, which were then used in a Y-split configuration for both phone and DSL connections, along with their accompanying pigtails. The setup was a tangled mess of wires, often causing one of the RJ11 interfaces to drop its connection, requiring plenty of wiggling before the modem would come back online.
