2" Light holder for Lack Enclosure
prusaprinters
I created this to hold three 2" recessed lights to the underside of one of the lack enclosure tables. It also gives me a handy place to tap 12v power later if I need it. I needed this because the top contains a recessed paver and took up some of the recessed area where I wanted the lights to go. They are angled so you don't need to be directly above the print bed. You can use the supports as plugs after you mount the light, just be sure not to use supports on the threads or you'll have a hard time popping them out. Smart supports excludes the threads if you use PrusaSlicer. It's threaded with M3 threads so you can use a bolt on the inside of the lid if you want assuming you cutout for a paver then put the paver on foam for the gap needed for the washer/bolt. You can use woodscrews also if you want. It prints easily so just use whatever print settings you prefer. I used a .4 nozzle and .2 layer height with supports everywhere so I could reuse the supports as plugs.I got the lights and wago connectors off amazon if you wanted to use the same ones. https://amzn.to/3Kd5EsB
