By employing a Kinect, I successfully scanned my wife's desired artwork for a smaller version, which she could place on her office desk. The outcome was impressive. To complete this project in two days, I utilized a raft and scaffold for printing the model. Post-printing, I carefully removed any leftover pieces from the scaffolding using a Dremel with a fiber buffing wheel and roughed up the surface slightly. Then, I painted the model according to her preferences - white as the base color followed by outlining and filling in black. To ensure the paint adhered properly and didn't scratch off easily, I applied three coats of KRYLON make it last. Finally, the .stl file's model size was scaled up to its largest possible size using the scale option.
