2 inch quad box with cover
thingiverse
I have various tools stored in containers with 2-inch apertures. Smaller components like spacers and bolts occupy a remarkably small amount of volume within a 2x2x2 inch enclosure. I created a container that fits inside to divide it into four distinct sections instead of one large space. Clearly, the newly created space was too confined and narrow for retrieving the parts effectively, so I designed a lid allowing you to pour components from just one section at a time. Simply print as many quad boxes as needed, along with a single lid cover. This solution has worked satisfactorily for me thus far. Updated .stl files have been reoriented properly for optimal printing... Print Settings Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer: Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: The minimum acceptable resolution of .3 millimeters works well Infill: A 10% infill rate is adequate Notes: I experienced stringing inside the containers' openings. However, a few swift passes with a file successfully eliminated this issue altogether.
